We welcome the submission of abstracts for proceedings papers, short papers, symposia, workshops and demonstrations. These can be submitted electronically through http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ple2010 Full details may be found here: PLE2010_contributions_guidelines
You are also invited to submit proposals for conference activities in other formats. These could include cafe or debate sessions. We are especially looking for originality and relevancy of ideas and for creative proposals, in form and content in addition to the traditional, paper presentation abstracts. We welcome submissions and ideas for videos, photos, podcasts, cartoons, posters – or any other kind of artifacts you can think of.
All proposals will be subject to a peer review process and all proposals accepted will be published electronically with an ISSN number. In addition we are intending to publish a special edition of a journal based on selected conference papers. Please note that all submissions should be licensed under a Creative Commons licence.
Each registered participant may submit one paper or contribution to the conference.
The deadline for proposals is March 26th, 2010. You will be notified if your submission has been accepted by April 30th. For those submitting proceedings papers, the deadline for the receipt of the full paper is May 28th.
In celebration of User Generated Content we will have a Mediacasting Contest during the PLE Conference 2010 with awards for the best three mediacast productions on Personal Learning Environments.

All mediacasts must be uploaded to our YouTube Group http://www.youtube.com/group/PLE2010CONF *by June 10, 2010*. On June 11, 2010, we will start an open voting. The voting will end on July 2, 2010. The winners will be announced and awarded during the PLE conference.
